How to use the Equity Calculator
Equity is the share of the pot a hand expects to win, given the cards still to come. Knowing it for hand-vs-hand spots is essential for studying all-in decisions, semi-bluffs and post-flop confrontations.
- Hands: Pick the hole cards for two or more players. The calculator supports up to 9 hands at once.
- Board: Optionally lock in the flop, turn or river to see how equity shifts as the board runs out.
Post-flop scenarios are evaluated exhaustively over every remaining runout. Preflop and other large samples use Monte Carlo simulation (around 8,000 trials), accurate to roughly ±0.5%.
